I found the whole experience sensational. The teachers very of very good standard and great fun to be with. Thank you for beeing a highlight of my German experience. Coming from an English speaking background and having no Deutsch on arrival, I am simply amazed at the amount I learnt in such a short period.

Munich

Munich, the 850-years-old media, arts, and cultural metropolis is Germany’s main centre for hightech and communication. With close to 1.3 million inhabitants the “Bavarian village of a million” is the third largest German city and, above all, a cosmopolitan city with heart.

Munich has 11 universities with some 87,000 students, many theatres and cinemas, museums and galeries including the famous ‘Neue Pinakothek’, ‘Alte Pinakothek’, and ‘Pinakothek der Moderne’, 7 breweries, and of course the Oktoberfest: the world’s biggest festival attended by nearly 6.5 million visitors every year takes place here. The area around Munich is marvellous: the numerous big and small lakes with a view to the Alps, the slopes at a distance of only 50 miles, the fairy tale castle Neuschwanstein (75 miles), and many German and European cultural cities close enough for weekend trips – you shouldn’t miss it!
